Adrianna (Adri) Duran-Leon
Though new to the TOZ family, Adri is not new to Estate Sales. Ever since childhood, she has had an appreciation for vintage, antique and sentimental items. People would always tell her she had an old soul. In 2012, her Grandma had to be moved into an assisted living facility. The family reached out to several estate sale companies and were turned away. Adri decided to step in and organize the sale herself. While the sale was running, everyone thought it was a professionally seasoned company running the sale and asked to be put on the email list or if they could hire her to do their sale. She has helped some friends do the same with their loved ones’ estates. She enjoyed the process of organizing and setting up sales and little did she know, it would be a career path in the future. Within the last year, she has been working closely with Bill through the entire process of TOZ’s sales.
Adri and the TOZ team are ready to help each family walk through the life-changing events of selling a loved ones belongings, or helping you downsize.
Our Process:
Once you’ve signed a contract, it takes about 2 weeks for our team to organize your home for a sale. We need keys and full access a minimum of 2 weeks prior to your sale dates. We then get to work to organize, move stuff around for optimum usage of your home for the sale. Please keep in mind, we typically are booked 2+ months out with sales
Estate Evaluation
Our evaluations are always complimentary. We come to you and meet you at your estate. After assessing your estate, we help you determine if an estate sale is in your best interest. If a sale is in your best interest, we offer some sale dates to you.
Organizing Your Sale
Once a date is assigned for your sale, the TOZ team gets to work in your estate. We start organizing all of the estate’s contents and display them in a nice, organized and appealing manner to entice buyers and make their shopping experience enjoyable. We carefully look at each item and make sure it is priced fairly. We advertise on multiple platforms, email blast and day of sale signage to direct buyers to the sale.
Sale Days
Sale days are busy days. Lots of people will be arriving and shopping. Our team is onsite helping shoppers while also keeping the sale organized and tidy. We accept cash, Apple Pay, credit and debit cards.
Conclusion of the Sale
Once the sale days are complete, we vacuum carpets, sweep floors, and dispose of any remaining items unless prior instructions have been given about said remaining items. We leave the house completely empty. Financials are handled and you are handed a check within 5 business days after the close of the sale.
